The Wild Days guide
Fishcome Cove has a small pebble beach, situated to the North East of Brixham Harbour. You can walk all the way from Brixham or simply park in the car park near the cove itself, just up the road. There are parking spaces in Kostenloser Parkplatz car park. Access to the Fishcombe Cove is down a long steep access road, down through the woods.

Just above the beach is the lovely Fishcombe Cove Café. You can enjoy a cup of coffee or a delicious sandwich or soup, sitting on the deck chairs that they provide. Take a look at their facebook page to see if they’re open for your visit. From certain angles on the beach you can see the walls of Brixham harbour, it’s really close. On the other side of the beach you can see part of Churston Cove.
The water is clear & there are plenty of rock-pools, filled with various sea creatures, so the kids will have some fun. Swimming next to a harbour has its obvious dangers, but there is plenty of space to have a dip without being too near any incoming and outgoing water traffic.
The path down to the beach has access to the coast path, you can walk in either direction along the coast path for some stunning scenery. The coast path runs behind the beach, you can find it in the woods going in both directions.
